So now we all know definitely for sure who Hinari is: the secretary from the Mi Mi Mao, who was overpowered together with her co-workers by Francois in the showdown of Volume 1 and chased him, still tied and gagged, when he tried to save her from the fire. I like her. She’s nice, but also a no-nonsense person who doesn’t like to be underestimated and isn’t easy to intimidate. I wonder, though, why she did get a link with her name to all of her appearances just now? Because she appeared quite a couple of times before this interlude.
It might be interesting to know for some here that Megan actually worked at the Mi Mi Mao some time before she opened her pub, too. So she definitely knows what Hinari’s talking about and feels for her. I know that from the special “The Hungover Harpist” which tells her backstory and how she met Amelie. Definitely worth a read.
Anyway, this is a very funny page. Aside from this call-back to one of the most hilarious scenes from Volume 1 it’s always a pleasure to watch Am and Kitsune try something really stupid to get some money! 😀
