Semla Returns in NOVEMBER!

That’s right you read that right! The Semla main comic is now on track and slated for a return this November! That’s the good news. There’s some slightly bad news however. To meet this return, we will be uploading just TWO page updates a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. We do not have a clear grasp if this will be the new norm or if we will revert back to our 3 updates a week if we get far enough ahead, but we will make those assessments once we are in full operation again.

Once again we have lots of fun stuff coming out and being worked on in the meantime so stay tuned here for any further updates!

Please read Eio’s “What About Semla” post on Deviant Art to get the gist of everything going on with the main Semla Script:

Hello everyone! We apologize for the prevailing silence on the status of the comic. For that we hope to inform you all on the current status of the main comic and lots of coming projects from the Semla Team!

We took our obligatory Summer Vacation from regular updates but real life has been a bit of chore sadly and do to that reality it’s going to be hard for us to hit our predicted start time in September. But we are working very hard to get back to production on the main comic as soon as possible. The following chapters are currently in the works and here’s a synopsis of what’s to come:

The battle between Nina and Jorgan RAGES across the junkyard, while Lan and Coral try to rescue Yumi and Lisbeth from a watery grave! Carol and Gustav are just trying to survive as the two powerhouses plow across the landscape. Will Julia and the PUNC team arrive in time before all five girls are caught up in the two-person war? Find out soon!

Volume 3 Chapter 7 Cover Preview!

As we work hard on the new chapters we will inform you of any future updates  but rest assured it’s on the way!

OTHER PROJECTS

TIDES OF TERROR #3

We’re not just working on the main comic! We have tons of new projects we’re working on as well and we’d like to share with you some updates on those as well. First of which is the exciting conclusion to TIDES OF TERROR! Volume three art is completely finished and is currently being lettered! Once the lettering is done (likely this week) we will be putting the final installment in the Semla Store before the end of September! Of course this book will also be available to all $10 Paton members as well.

COMING NEXT WEEK!

FLASH DRIVE #1

A new Semi-Auto Special is in the works and art is being done as we speak! We have a new (to the Semla Team) artist working on this one and they are doing spectacularly.

This story takes the character Kenzi Shaw, resident Transporter and Wheelman in Beistad and sends her on a crazy adventure involving illegal hackers, crazy mercenaries, and even looking after her little sister Kali. This special will have lots of Semla cameos including Zhao, Octavia, Zila as well as new characters you’ll learn to love. Here’s a first look at this new adventure coming to Semla.

SEMLA GAME

That’s right we’re working on a Semla Visual Novel game! It’s currently in PRE PRE PRE Production. Very Early stage but here’s some screen shots and character models to get you nice and titillated about what’s soon to come!

Thank you all so much for your patience and continued support. We will be keeping you all informed more regularly from now on so stay tuned to this update bar for more info to come!

Hello everyone!

Due to issues with keeping the comic going on a stable basis during this pandemic, we will be taking a short hiatus until August. Don’t worry though, we will be spending that time preparing the comic for its re-launch AND producing more side comics, so look forward to more content soon!

In the meantime – stay safe, stay sane! 🙂

A very happy holidays from the Semla Crew! We have to apologize though; our annual Christmas Speical was unable to be completed in time, so to make up for this, we are offering all of our side comics at a special holiday discount running from now to the New Year! Besides, the holidays are the perfect time to watch the world burn, like Amelie here and the annual Beistad Yule Goat!
