Actually, I recall watching a video of an experiment done by a TV program, I think in Italy, where they kept a woman chair-tied and gagged in a store while two men posed as the store clerks. The video showed people entering the store, being startled when seeing the girl struggling and mmphing, but most of them accepted the “store clerks” explanation. I don’t remember what excuse they were giving. I think at the end of the video a policeman entered the store, alerted by one customer who didn’t buy their explanation, and then the TV crew explained to him what they were doing.
Also I read recently that there was a similar prank in the British TV even before than the Italian one, and supposedly the scene with the girl was even more credible (better ties and gag), but I am not sure the poster was certain of this information.
That’s actually kinda interesting and depressing at the same time. Although I can see where the customers would be coming from. You get all kinds of TV prank shows these days so I guess they might have thought it was one of those…Although at the same I can also understand them not wanting to get involved with whatever the heck is going on.
This is also a city where women get tied up…a lot so, when you think about it , something bondage related for charity might not be as strange as one might think considering what happens there.

A “charity” damsels theme bar is a great idea.And they already have a good damsels display in storage and is the put the girls in some cosplay outfits,a lot of males are going to visit the place,they only need a better publicity.
Surprisingly it worked. That person is either very naive or so used to be seeing women in bondage (it actually happens a lot in this city) that he just accepts this explanation.
