It’s been hinted, I think, in a previous issue cover; that Julia ends up going vigilante (the one where she has short hair, has duct tape on her mouth, a handcuff on her wrist, and an earpiece).
…she’s also, notably, on the radio with Lilja Trevaine; which she would NOT do…unless it meant getting the Vicerine back, and redeeming herself.
And since Zhao works for Justine…and Justine vouched for Julia to keep her job…and Zhao just found out where the Vicerine is being kept…
…it might be that Justine will utilize Julia as a pawn; to get the Vicerine back, and restore the balance of power in the underworld, away from Estrella.
I can definitely see her going the vigilante route…
Also, the cover for the previous volume you mentioned… that short haired lady wasn’t Julia, it was Erin… though, I wouldn’t be against Jules rocking that as her vigilante attire.
Poor Julia… she is not handling this well. We’ve all been there, to feel like we’re being crushed by our failures.
But I doubt she’s going to stand idly by during all this. Maybe she’ll go the vigilante route to try and fix things.
