The way I see it, there’s three…maybe four…outcomes to this:
1. The most obvious is it’s Justine…it looks like her profile, and she appeared to be the closest to the door.
We’re likely going to be greeted with a hilarious shot of Justine collapsed on Julia in a rather compromising position (if I was a gambler, it might even be Justine’s taped mouth against Julia’s…sort of a “kiss and make up” awkward moment) XD
…but seriously, Julia saving Justine mends a lot of their personal issues. Justine will owe Julia a huge favor.
2. It’s Amaretto…and this REALLY complicates everything.
It means that Zilla doesn’t successfully kidnap their primary target…and it throws the criminal underworld into chaos; without Justine exerting her authority over them. Everybody will be making a power-grab.
Plus, the Trevaine children lose the only person who keeps them out of trouble.
3. It’s Michaela.
Not very likely; but we still haven’t seen the outcome of her bout with Jorgen…it’s “possible” that while Julia was stunned, Jorgen incapacitated Michaela, and tossed her in the van.
Again, not very likely…but possible.
4. It’s somebody who was already tied & gagged inside the van.
Maybe an employee from the gala who’d been captured initially…and overheard some vital clue that will help Julia locate where Zilla was taking the hostages.
Not likely, since we were given a glimpse inside the van, and saw nobody…but it’s possible.
If I was to hazard a guess, I would say Julia’s ended up grabbing Justine as she was closer to the door.
Also to make things that little more awkward 😏
