As I said, Bernard is a despicable person. And at the same time very pathetic. A psychopathic manchild, who can’t control his anger issues and his narcissism and doesn’t know how to solve a situation in any other way than aggression – basically like the guy who runs the Oval Office now. ^^
(But don’t worry, I’m not going to be more political than this here. The reality is sad and frightening enough, so I’m glad this webcomic offers some kind of lighthearted distraction. I just couldn’t resist doing this reference.)
Back to the main topic: Justine is the most dangerous of them. As she says in the final panel: she doesn’t take it lightly when a member of her family gets threatened (even if that’s their own fault), but unlike her children she’s able to control her emotions. I’m really worried what she has planned for Julia.
Apart from these worrying implications, Bernard’s childish outburst is very funny. And the expressions are greatly drawn, again.
I’m hoping that Justine does eventually force Lilja to drop the charges against Julia.
I’m foreseeing an impending circumstance here where the ladies at this gala are going to find themselves held hostage; and that Julia & Justine may come to a sort of truce, once Julia saves the day.
Bernard is struggling when immediate violence is not the answer I see 😏
Justine lovely diabolical as always.
Jmmm… Am I detcting Lannister vibes here? 😀
