Somehow,I’m not really surprised at this. Frankie getting an unexpected swim in the ocean. If it weren’t for bad luck,old Frankie probably wouldn’t have any,but what do the rest of you think?
Well, it seems Amelie’s “plan”, Her plan, or rather her improvisation exploding the prison’s boiler, is achieving their goal of getting Frankie out of jail. Whether he will get out alive is another story.
Yeah, Frankie, you should have stayed in the gym! It’s good that you finally come to your senses, but it’s also a bit late to back out now, don’t you think?^^
This scene reminds me of Stephen King’s short story “The Ledge” and its adaptation in the movie “Cat’s Eye”. Though Frankie isn’t in such a terrible situation as its protagonist. It is more likely to survive a fall in the water than on concrete. And after all, he has his own sort of dumb luck – Frankie’s luck, like how Nick called it. 😀
