So Nera plots against her sister only because she is annoyed by her?! Not a very valid reason I must say! But on the other hand… I think I kind of understand her. Everyone who has one or annoying sibling(s) maybe at one point wants to get rid of them… or put them in their place, at least.
And now we finally get the introduction of Alley Cat in the main plot! 😀
To those of you who don’t know who she is: she’s a ruthless and greedy thief and cat burglar, always looking for a way to get rich fast. And she obviously enjoys tying up and tickling women deeply and often does it to get what she wants. ^^
She appeared earlier in the special “Epic of the Jade Bacon”, where she, along with her then-partners Coral and Maddie, tried to snatch away the titular valuable item from Yumi. Though I don’t know if that special counts as canon and if yes, at what time in the storyline it takes place. I also wonder if she is the “Cat” that Inspector Rui mentioned when she talked to Julia in chapter 05. If anyone here can recall that. It’s really a long time ago!
Anyway, Alley Cat now seems to have changed her profession and is now a spy or mercenary for hire. And she’s supposed to free Zila from Yamahalan? If that happens at the same time as Amelie’s upcoming attempt of breaking Frankie free from there, then all hell is about to break loose on that place! I’m worried…
What’s up with Nera? Her sister really seems to like her. While Amaretto can come across as annoying,she seems like a nice person. Does she really deserve all that anger she has towards her? It’s a shame though. Amaretto having such a creep for a sister.

I don’t know whose character she is, but whoever created her was obviously inspired by Catwoman and/or the marvel character Black Cat. And I’d say that kind of superheroine/villainess-like burglar-character fits well in the Semlaworld. But that’s just my opinion.

It’s hard to tell who Alley Cat is (since this is the first time she appears).
And since she’s in for a prison break, that Catwoman outfit is understandable.
