It looks like we’re going to find about some of the less savory side of the Trevaines. It seems that Captain Ornberg might have known about some very bad things the Trevaines were involved in,but either there wasn’t any proof or no witnesses to corroborate it. The police may have known about some very shady things, but were never able to prove it. He may have even known people that had crossed the Trevaines and they either were forced to leave Beistad or disappeared altogether, and that includes police officers. I think that the Captain wants to take a cautious approach when it comes to the Trevaines, and that’s because of their influence and power. He might want to make sure they have a strong case with good evidence against them. That’s what I think is going to happen here.
On a different note,if you’re still out there Gwendoline, you may want to look at the Volume 2 Interlude. I promise you, you’ll like what you see there. Trust me on that. You’ll enjoy it a great deal.
Hi, Ghost.
I actually read it already, but I’ll comment on all pages in chronological order. Right now I’m still at Chapter 2.01, but I’ll get to that for sure. But one after the other. 🙂
Good to see that Julia has finally open her eyes about the trenaines but sadly they are connected whit too much powerful people.Anyway there is a possibilitie to at least track donw were they keep the witnesess of her bad actions and rescue them. There are pribably a lot of girls captive in a lot of places. They can not defy them openly but still they coukd try to help others abd cooperate whit the rivals of the tremaibe.
So now we finally have the reveal. Captain Örnborg is fully aware of what the Trevaines are doing and what they are capable of doing. He’s definitely not a crooked cop, he’s acting cautious.
It might sound weird to say “they’re not only scumbags, they’re scum”, but there’s actually a big difference. Phillip will explain it to us on the next page.
And… cue all the annoying politics.

So what are you trying to say Phillip?
