And,what I thought was going to happen HAS happened. Lilja’s about to get her latest “plaything.” It was ONLY a matter of time before this happened. I just knew it.
Well,sir. I want to say I’m not the only one who saw this coming. A bunch of others did,too. But,what I’ve heard about Lilja for so long,I’m not surprised to see this happen.
I was guessing something like this would’ve happened (she did have a very “ominous” way of lighting the candles in the last page), candles laced with some kind of chemical to make her drowzy.
I think we all knew that if she had accepted that drink before, it would’ve been laced too.
Heck, I think li’ll Lilja have at least five more ways to subdue our dear officer should this not work!
Aaand she goes down! Of course we all knew that would happen.
Lilja is such a smug snake! First pretending to be innocent, generous and concerned, and when the laced candles come to their full effect on Julia, she shows her true face and starts grinning evily. That’s actually a great way to build up to a villain scene. Lilja is not a very likable character, but she’s awesome as a charismatic villainess.
