I feel like the next panels are going to address the “iron tiger tournament” as a connecting thread, tying Frankie’s story and now the cartels paths together, with julia taking this opportunity to take down zila and her buff friends while in weakened states. And then when the trevaines make a move on the guard less cartel, that’s when PUNC and their new friend roku take them down.
Julia still seems very standoffish despite Kimidori’s helpfulness. But she rightly assumes here that the Kobayashis like the Trevaines are not exactly law-abiding citizens. And she doesn’t seem to be getting intimidated very easily.
That’s what gets her in a lot of trouble but that’s also what makes her a great character. She should be lucky, though, that Kimidori has decided to use her as a pawn against the Trevaines rather than killing her.

But that’s just a theory.
Playing hardball, I see!
Sexy hardball!
While Julia’s doing whatever she’s doing, what’s next? I don’t know. I hope we find out.
