Forgive me,YamiDantes but I think Julia may have a right to be concerned. If the Yakuza of the Semla world is ANYTHING like the Yakuza of our world, she may have a right to worry. The Yakuza are stone cold killers. They’re well-known for their brutality and viciousness. And now, she’s in their world’s equivalent to such people. I’m amazed that they didn’t hack both Julia and Lan-Lan to pieces and leave them in a place where they’d be found.
I know people like ASDASDAS would like to see Julia in a DID situation. That’s why a lot of people come here,to see stuff like that. What I’m worried about is that the people holding Julia will chop her into pieces and deliver those pieces to the BCP in a small package in the mail.
I know that Julia has every reason to be worried in this situation. But it’s not like she’s in really in danger of dying, if she did die here, the comic would end pretty abruptly, as she is one of the main characters. Also not to sound rude, but it’s been made clear in a few recent pages that Lan-Lan is a friend/ally of this organization, so she wasn’t even in danger to begin with. So there’s no reason to worry, Julia and Lan-Lan will be just fine. ^^
Well,SansSkeleton87,I can’t help but worry a little. But,I have a question. How does Lan-Lan know these people? These aren’t exactly the type of people you bump into on the street every day. How would someone like Lan-Lan meet them? As for Julia,I think my concern for her is valid. I don’t mean to get people like you upset with me,SansSkeleton87. I just think that this time,Julia’s gotten in WAY over her head on this. I can’t help but feel a bit concerned.
Dude, have you been following the comedic, saturday morning cartoon atmosphere of this comic? I imagine the worst that could happen to any character here is getting crammed in a crate and getting shipped off to a different country in slavery. Even then, this is a comic made by D.I.D. fetishists from DeviantArt, so that’d probably be a good ending for the demographic. Need to see the forest for the trees, man. Try a snickers. ^3^
I feel I, as the head writer, should clarify that we have always striven to keep this comic a fun and generally light-hearted comic. Yes, there are bad guys and bad girls and some of them are quite vicious, but in the end no one ever gets seriously hurt. There will never be any blood or gore in this comic beyond, at the most, a dramatic gunshot wound for someone to recover from in the nick of time.
I want to apologize, hiddenlotus and Eio Semla. I sometimes take things too seriously. I don’t mean too. I’m sorry. Please calm down and don’t get angry with me. I didn’t mean to cause any trouble.
Don’t get so down, I know I ain’t mad over ya for it. Just wanted to make sure ya aren’t getting the wrong ideas o’ what’s going to happen later on. =D
Hmm…that crate to slavery idea’s stuck in my head now…might have to commission something…
There is no need to apologize. I, nor anyone else of the staff, are angry with you. We just wish for the comic to be seen for what it is: A lighthearted crime adventure.
Well it’s a shame we missed out on the battle the led up to this.
Sometimes a gilligans cut is more effective 😉
Finally! After so much chapters, Julia in a did situation again 😀
Roku you surprise me in the best way possible, please don’t stop being secretive and awesome.
And you, officer Keiser, calm down for once.

It seems that our heroine has become a beautiful hostage.

Bee following this since the start and the comic is as good as ever! Can’t wait for more 🙂
P.S. the gag talk is soooo good!
Always great to see Julia in bondage again! Especially in this outfit!
Also love the gag-talk. And Roku being secretive and badass is awesome!
