I got a bad feeling about what’s gonna happen to the backup now that they are standing between the gorillas and escape. But hopefully they move along and find julia instead. I just hope those bandidows don’t do something overkill like blowing the whole building.
I’m also hoping that Ashley and Cale find Julia soon. It looks as though she may need their help. Also,Zila and her friends might decide to make a snack out of them,if they encounter them. Also,why did they give this woman the name Roku? It kinda sounds more like a male character than a female character. To be honest,I thought that this Roku person was some kind of secret agent or something like that.
To find out that she’s in the Semla world’s version of the Yakuza than that world’s version of Interpol,is something disturbing. If their version of the Yakuza is ANYTHING like the real world’s version of the Yakuza,then what can be expected is something on the level of horrifying.
The plot thickens. Now we learn that Roku’s faction are the Semlaverse’s yakuza. Let’s see what their interests are and how that will affect the main conflict.
Also I have to admit that Ashley and Cale look pretty badass on that last panel!
