I hope Lan-Lan over here is dreaming of pulling off her previous Blackmail attempt without so much as a hint of trouble, and then having yumi embrace her in more than just arms. Because this like one needs a break after this.
And is it me our does zila look like she is enjoying this part of her job a little more than she would originally lead on?
What on earth is Zila doing to Lan Lan espeacily with that hose I hope it’s not like last chapter that poor Amelia was in case in concrete but at least Zila is enjoying herself.
Well, forgive us,Limpurtikles. There are those of us who didn’t grow up watching Swedish cinema. Someone like me who grew up watching American cinema aren’t going to be as familiar with something like this like you seem to be. This isn’t something the classic Hollywood screen gangsters like George Raft or James Cagney did. Tying someone up and then putting a hose on him or her is going to be something new to us.
You can’t blame the rest of us for thinking “What the heck is going on here?’ Unlike you,Limputikles, the rest of us are left scratching our head and wondering why this is happening. This is something we’re not as familiar with.
Sorry,Mr. Semla. I didn’t mean to sound hostile. I seem more confused than anything. I didn’t mean to cause problems. I’m at a loss to figure out what the heck is going on here.
Uh-oh! Seems that Zila plans to kill Lan-Lan with gas! Hurry Julia! You don’t have to fight Zila, but you can save Lan!
And yes, I remember scenes like this from the danish crime comedy-series “The Olsen Gang” (which is the aforementioned “Jönssonliga” based upon) as well.
Normally,I don’t comment on older stuff but there was something I want to tell you. I admit that I was a little harsh in an earlier comment I made. But,when I first saw this scene,I thought “What the heck is going on here?” For someone like me,who’s more familiar with classic American cinema than stuff from Scandinavia, for the most part I was left scratching my head. This isn’t something that you’d see the gangsters of classic Hollywood doing. The criminals played by people like George Raft,James Cagney, and Edward G. Robinson weren’t doing what Zilla’s doing to Lan-Lan in the above scene.
What they did to their victims were something like give him (usually some henchman from the other side or someone who messed up REALLY badly) cement shoes and then tossing him from a bridge at night or just shooting him at some out of the way place or other methods like that. Seeing someone wrapped up in a blanket or rug and then giving him a face full of gas is going to be a bit unusual for Americans who aren’t as familiar with some Swedish or other Scandinavian fare like this because for the most part, they never made their way here. So,if you’re American like me,you’re going to be at a loss because we’re not as familiar with this sort of thing, unlike the creators of this comic. That’s where I’m coming from. I hope you guys understand that.
I miss some rope scene -_- but well a least i have the spinn off :v

I can’t help but imagine that this doesn’t go too differently to the first time Zila and Julia were together.
I hope it does go differently. Julia owes her some payback
Some questions. One,what’s Zila going to do with that hose? Two,what’s going to happen to Lan-Lan? And,three,is Julia going to end up joining her?
As someone who grew up with a lot of classic swedish movies, this scene is all to familiar to me and I love it.
(all the people going “what’s she gonna do with that hose?” and I’m just sitting here like X3 )

Please watch your tone. There is no need to get hostile.

Yeah, this is some Jönssonliganesque shennanigans allright! ^^
I’m actually hoping Julia wins the upcoming engagement. It would be nice to see her dish out some retribution this time.
