“I don’t even know how to drive… but I can learn!”
Yep, these two last panels sum up Amelie’s character perfectly. If she doesn’t know how to do something, she still does it, regardless of the consequences. She acts first and thinks later. A mischievous brat who doesn’t care when she gets into trouble. Isn’t she lovely? ^^
And about Frankie’s reaction to Julia discovering Lilja: this reminded me of a funny German fan dub of “Star Trek: The Next Generation”, in which Geordi La Forge always adds questions to his sentences when he talks and sometimes his dialogues are just comprised of “How or what or who or when or why…” etc. It’s title is “Sinnlos im Weltraum” (transl. “Senseless in Space”) and one of the most hilarious parodies I’ve ever watched. But it can be hard to understand for a not-german-speaker (I’m from Germany, btw).
I just wanted to add that.
I can really respect a man who knows when to jump ship. Good on you guy.
