Looks like Julia’s kinda beginning to enjoy herself. Being introduced to so many famous people might be interesting for Ms. Keiser, but a familiar shadow has appeared. Is this Justine, trying to make Julia her daughter’s plaything or something or SOMEONE ELSE entirely? Who knows? Let’s just wait and see.
Some important things happening here. First, Julia and Philip meet Nera Amaretto for the first time – obviously not knowing that she was behind the prison breakout of Zila and Jorgen. Nera seems pretty nice here. It’s not easy to say if this is genuine. But I guess it can be pleasant to have her in company if she doesn’t feel resentment to the person in question – like her sister, for example. ^^
I think that she likes Julia, even if she’s also aware that Julia is a cop and can get in her way. But that’s just my headcanon for her.
Then Julia mentions a goddess. I’m not sure, but is this the first time that the main religion of the Semlaworld gets referenced? As most societies there are based on matriarchy, it makes definitely sense that the central figure of their religion is also female.
And then there’s the shadowy figure who approaches Julia. Based on her reaction it’s probably someone whom she doesn’t look forward to meet. It could be Justine, but is it truly her? Hmmm…
Heh, time for the night to get worse for Julia I suspect.
Gonna take a guess…Justine Trevaine.
Judging by them using her formal title.
Yep, the silhouette resembles Justine too I reckon.
