I agree with Nick. It’s great that Lan-Lan’s concerned about her friend. What I’m concerned about is Coral. If she’d said “We don’t know which cops work for the Trevaines or not. We’ve got to be cautious,”I’d probably would think she’s being careful. But,she’s not. She doesn’t know that Julia tried to help Lan-Lan when she was in trouble. I think being rather foolish. I’m not sure where she got that attitude from but I hope it changes soon. And,I also hopes she finds a better job,like her returning to Luci as her assistant. I don’t know. That’s just me.
I think their acting here is totally understandable. Lan-Lan and Coral might know that Julia isn’t a crooked cop, but they don’t know anything about the other cops. And some of them might be even one the Trevaine’s payroll. And even if not, the cops don’t know for sure what happened and might decide that it would be best to take those girls into custody before digging any further. And after what they’ve been put through, no one can blame the girls for not wanting to be put into captivity again. Even if it’s this time by the law.
I hope they get somewhere safe now. Where they can’t be found by Lilja.
