It’s called a vicious circle, Amelie. They send guys to kill you, you rob them, they send more guys to kill them, you rob them more, and so on and so forth until you stop robbing them, or they kill you… there really is no winning for you in this situation.
I love that Amelie gets offended by him calling her a “sidekick” and not because of the “mentally challenged”. Probably she didn’t even know what that means.
And yes, in this case he’s also not the smartest planning to steal from the guys that want to kill him.
