Has our brave hero met her end? is that poor girl ever going to be saved? But most importantly…is there like a rope tying test you have to pass before you are allowed to be a criminal. That’s rope work that isn’t exactly going to slip off with enough struggling.
What a cliffhanger!
And, as Slacker-San said: this is some really complicated rope-work on these two hostages. Normally thugs aren’t that experienced in tying someone up. Not that I’m complaining here. I, like most of the readers I suppose, am mainly here for the bondage. And it definitely didn’t disappoint. Would only loved it more if Lilja and Julia were put into rope harnesses. But that’d maybe too unrealistic.
Also it’s funny how short this first chapter is in comparison to the later ones. It has only a few pages. This will change. It will get more intense, darker and complex. But that’s one of the reasons why I love it, too.
I am revisiting the comic to enjoy it again from the beginning, now with the perspective of knowing the development of the story and characters, to discover details that I could have missed, and to make comments I didn’t think of in my first reading.
And boy, this scene of Lilja and Julia tied and gagged side by side, in a speeding van through the busy streets of Beistadt, surely causes excitement in me, even more than the first bondage scene of the comic, when Julia found out Lilja bound and gagged inside the trunk of Francois’ car.
There are several elements that generate this thrill: I like to see two or more women, watching at the other(s) as a reflection of her own plight, each one knowing that she looks as helpless as the others. The idea of these kidnapped damsels being transported among all the people walking or driving around without even imagining that this vehicle contains these restrained girls, because they can’t hear their muffled, gagged sounds. The way they are dressed, both with short skirts, one in a dress and the other in police uniform, using high heels and boots. Beautiful!
But the feature that for me tops it all is that, at least for Julia, this is her first time bound and gagged. This is something that always turns me on. Be it with my girlfriends when I introduced them to bondage, a first-time actress in a commercial bondage video or a mainstream film or series, or a character in a fiction work like this. Sometimes even with real world situations, when girls or women found themselves victims of a robbery or some other situation, as long as they didn’t suffer any real harm other than being tied and gagged. My mind starts racing, guessing what kind of thoughts, sensations, feelings this new, weird situation provokes in them. The surprise and weirdness at being restrained and unable to speak or scream. In some cases the frustration, maybe anger; in others, the fear and anguish. In a very few maybe they even feel the awakening of some strange, but not displeasing, sensations: blushing, flush, heat, arousal.
In this scene in specific, I imagine Julia first surprised when she woke up, feeling her limbs restrained and unable to scream or articulate a word. Then, taking in the weirdness of this state for her. straining her arms and legs against the ropes, chewing and mewing into her gag. What makes it even more precious, for me at least, is thinking that for her, a strong woman, a police officer wanting to help and rescue a damsel in distress, seeing herself unexpectedly reduced to this condition must be aggravating, which will prompt her to struggle mightily to get free, rescue the others, and punish the bad guys. I love it when women not just stand still, resigned to their situation or too afraid to move; but that fight within their bonds, writhing, wiggling, squirming, moaning. Great scene!
And sorry for the long post! I was feeling inspired, and when I realized how much I’d written, I couldn’t bring myself to cut anything. I hope it at least entertains you.
