Megan’s speech to Francois made me wonder something. Why IS Amelie so attached to him? He gets her into trouble. He abandoned her once. He’s basically not deserving of any sort of devotion as she as to him. There are certainly much better people for Amelie to be around than Frankie. It’s a mystery as to why she’d feel that way.
Oh, a serious moment between Megan and Francois. She lets him openly know that she resents him and wouldn’t have allowed him to hide at her place if it wasn’t because of Amelie. And she reminds him that he owes both of them something because of that. This is a great chance for character development for him here. Hopefully he’ll learn something through this speech and will change his ways.
Also it’s an interesting glimpse in Am’s backstory. In “Boss of Beistad” and “The Hungover Harpist” her past gets explored even further. To those of you who haven’t read these specials: let’s just say that Amelie’s carefree and crazy attitude is her way of coping with the loss of her parents (especially her mother). The full story hasn’t revealed yet, but there’s definitely more depth to her character than it initially appears.
Though I’m here for the bondage and funny scenes I also enjoy the more serious moments like this one. It gives us more insight into the characters and makes them more fleshed out. A good way of storytelling.
Ah, so this is when we start to acknowledge the bonds between these characters.
This should be a great chapter!
