Yeah, the re-draw of these uncomfortable scenes is even more detailed and darker than the old version. Hoshi really improved his art since then. Not that it was bad before, not at all! But it got even better!
Good examples for that are Julia’s expressions as she is remembering Lilja’s abuse of her. First surprise, then troubled and the last panel shows a genuine look of shock and probably also anger. Really impressive and emotional there! A great page!
