Don’t you know that covers always lie? It should be well established now that most covers of comics, books, music albums, video games and movies often give a right impression of the actual work. For marketing reasons the cover motifs are often highly exaggerated and more spectacular than the inside – because the creators and/or the marketing team wants do draw your attention. That’s nothing new!
In fact, it happened pretty often especially on this webcomic before. Many of the chapter covers show Julia or another character in bondage, though it often doesn’t happen in the chapter itself. It’s even mentioned in the TV-Tropes-article of “Semi-Auto Semla”!
