I put it into Google Translate, and “Frisksjön” came out as “fresh lake” in Norwegian. I don’t think that’s correct though, because I don’t really see anything wrong with a fresh lake.
I think Frisksjön might be something like a strict private school for rich daughters where they also getting teached good manners. Given Lilja’s reaction, she didn’t enjoy it being there at all.
