I think Coralin’s defeatist reasoning sounds something like this: Nothing’s going my way anyway, I might as well look stylish until the sh*t hits the fan.
I agree with Slacker-San. Coral’s face is like “I can’t believe this is happening to me! Why is this happening to me?!” She should consider another line of work. First, she worked for Luci, and somehow that didn’t work out. Now,she’s working for Diaz and she’s getting kidnapped. Here’s the thing. Coral’s current employer has a tendency to use her secretaries as target practice for whatever reason. What upside is there for HER in all this? I’d be amazed if she lives long enough to get her first paycheck.
And,on another note, just what ARE they doing to Amelie? Nothing good,I think. Somehow,Megan,Amelie’s guardian, should be doing something about this, like trying to rescue her or something like that? Will we find out or is it too gruesome to show? Knowing the type of people Diaz knows,it’s probably the latter.
Sniff…To be acknowledged is such a beautiful thing but to be agreed with also melts my frozen heart. In all seriousness though, I can imagine that she is clutching at straws at this point. It is never easy to find a job in the first place and I can imagine she is happy to get whatever job she can even if it is rather unpleasant.
I like to imagine what is going through her head during these kidnappings. Why does this keep happening? Is it how I dress? Should I go for more of a tomboy appearance? Am I perhaps giving off some kind of pheromone which attracts these weirdos? Maybe I should just accept it and work at one of those bondage places because at least I’ll be getting paid to be tied up.
lets be honest, she goes through all of these kidnappings and doesn’t even get any hazard pay. I think she should consider getting tied up for a living.
To be completely honest, being snatched in this case might have saved the aulander secretary’s life, considering the way Diaz vents her anger. Coralin’s ”bad luck” might have dodged her from riding that big reindeer herd in the sky. Ya need to look at things from the bright side! 😉
And well.. about her employers… she is just very bad at not being naive, as you probably can tell.;)
Even though we know the outcome that was pretty intense. And funny!
Though I wonder why Coral didn’t make any noise to alert Zila. Because it seems she is still awake and didn’t get chloroformed.
ah the face of, “I really need to find a new job”.
I like the running joke of her own scarf being used as a gag.
You mean.. the running gag? ;D
To be fair, if she didn’t want to be gagged with it, perhaps she shouldn’t wear it XD
Oh blaming the victim are we? ;P
More blaming the girl who lives in a city where this stuff happens to her on a weekly basis doing it.
